Where do I pay?

Tuition and fees payments are made to the admitting campus.

Which campus do I go to for financial aid?

Financial aid applications and distribution are handled through the admitting campus. Currently, this is UNCG. The phone number of the Financial Aid Office is 336-334-5702.

Is there financial assistance for JMSW students?

Yes. However, you must be admitted to the program and in attendance for one month before you can apply for a number of research assistantships or the Child Welfare Scholar Awards. Incoming students should always plan to cover their expenses in case they do not receive any of these financial awards.

When do I apply for financial aid?

For financial aid that is not handled through the JMSW Program, such as federal loans, consult the individual program for their deadlines.

JMSW financial aid, including assistantships and the Child Welfare Collaborative, is applied for in September after admission. Note that this is after classes begin. We recommend that students be prepared to pay for at least the first semester of classes on their own.

How much is tuition?

Tuition changes from year to year. Please contact the admitting Graduate School for the most up-to-date information.
