The JMSW Program currently
offers three scheduling options for students.
- Two Year Option (full-time)
- Students complete the
program in four semesters, taking 15 hours in each; no summer sessions
(unless chosen for elective)
- Classes are held during
the day
- Field placement is 8
a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday in the second, third, and fourth semesters
- Curriculum
Plan
- Three Year Option (modified
part-time)
- Students complete the
program in nine semesters, taking 6-9 hours in each; summer sessions
are included
- Classes are held on
Saturdays
- The first field placement
is a block summer placement
- Due to field placement,
the final year is full-time
- Curriculum
Plan
- Advanced Standing Option
- Students complete the
program in one calendar year.
- Students begin the program
in May, taking two courses (six hours) in each of two summer sessions
for a total of twelve hours.
- In the fall and spring
semesters, students take three 3-hour classes on Monday and Tuesday
and are in field placement 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday.
